Our guild is made up of a diverse group of people from all over the
world. They are here to have fun, make friends and really enjoy
playing the game. Our guild is not built on one person. It is all of
us. Your voice counts and can be heard in many different ways. In
game through guild chat, in game mail, e-mail and of course the web site.
All opinions and suggestions are welcome as well as complaints and
disappointments. HOWEVER, we do not take kindly to people who
join our guild and beg for gold or to be run through something that is
over their level. We do help people but, there is a limit. If you
decide to join please know there are many things you will do on your
own. We do not power level people. So many things to learn if we
power- leveled you, you would never learn them.
When you
first join our guild you have no access to the guild bank. This has
been done in order to protect our guild from people who steal from the
Guild Bank and then leave. Your first rank is Recruit. You will not get a promotion for the first 30 days that you join our
guild. This gives us time to get to know each other and to see how you play the game.
If there is something in the guild bank that you would like to have
please get with a guild member and have them retrieve the item. Always
try to find someone close to your level to help you. Try to get help
from people that are around the area that you are working in. After the initial 30 day probation period, you will be promoted to Cadet.
This rank is given to you to get you started on your way through the
ranks. From now on all promotions will have to be earned. This promotion will give you limited access to the guild bank, tabs 1 - 5.
Now your work is just beginning. You need to work on getting your toon
to level 80, helping others along the way. Before you go outside our
guild for groups (aka: pug), please ask in guild chat or vent first to
see if there is someone that would like to go with you. Once you are level 80, you will be promoted to Infantry. This
promotion gives you more access to the guild bank. Of
course it gets tougher to get to the next rank. Now that you are ready
to reach the next goal you will be asked to attend heroics and some
raids. Your participation is very important to achieving the next
rank. Making yourself available to other guild members when you can.
Advice, directions, quest information are all keys to participation in
our guild. We ask that before you pug a group, talk to our guild
members first. Someone may want to attend the heroic or raid with you.
When your in a pug, you are representing our guild. Please be
courteous to all.
The next promotion is Cavalry.
Again more access to the guild bank, tabs 1-5 and you will receive
limited access to the officer tab 6. You will be asked to attend many
heroics and raids. Your attendance is very important at this rank. Participation is the key. Make yourself available for our guild runs.
You will be notified well in advance of the raid so be on time. If you
are in a pug when our run starts you
will be expected to leave the pug and attend the raid with the guild.
If you miss our raid because of a pug group, you will not be attending
the next raid, and you could loose this rank. Helping other members
with advice, direction, and any skill you can
offer. You are a member of our guild and are representing us when you
are in a pug. Please be courteous to all. Obtaining the next rank of Centurion
is a little harder to achieve than the previous rankings. This is a promotion for members who are level 80. These are members who have been
with the game and/or our guild for quite a while and can really lend a
hand to those that are in need of some help. They make themselves
available to all members of our guild. They can be depended on to run
raids, heroics or dungeons, as well as helping you find that ever
elusive quest you have been working on. They are very knowledgeable
about their main toon and can help members with gear, gems, stas and so
on. They are able to give advice on your toon as well as give you
direction where to find information. This level requires much
participation within our guild. The next rank is Lieutenant. This is a stepping stone promotion to becoming a member of the Council. This promotion requires all the above responsibilities. You
will have more access to the guild bank as well as limited access to officers tab 6. Members of the guild help you to achieve this position
with their input. Communication, social skills, willingness to help
others, representation of our guild, running raids, heroics and
dungeons, all play a part on you receiving this position. The final rank to achieve within our guild is to become a member of the Council. When an opening becomes available, the current Council members will be picking a new member from the Lieutenant. Again, ALL THE ABOVE IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ACHIEVE THIS RANK. Members of the guild will also be asked to help in making this decision. Participation is of the up-most priority for this level. Council members are required to be available to our guild members. Responsibilities
include the following but are not limited to only these. Recruiting
new members to our guild. Helping to put raids, heroics and dungeons
together. Helping members of our guild achieve their goals. Creating
and maintaining a fun atmosphere for all our members. Leadership skills are a must. The Council is depended on to take care of our guild when the GM is not available
Raiding:
You are not required
to participate in raids. However, if you choose to attend a raid, the
following are guide lines you will be asked to follow.
You must be level 80. There is
no way
around this. Your gear score must be 4500 or better no exceptions to
this either. You must be on time for the scheduled raid.
All raids are posted on the in game
calendar. Please accept, decline
or select tentative. Do not leave it blank please. This will help us
to get the positions filled. Signing up on the Calendar does not
automatically give you a spot in the raid. There are several
people that sign up and of course not all can go. All our raids for
the time being are 10 man raids. Please do not pug for any 10 man
raids. We need you for the raids. If you have accepted an invite to
attend please be on time. If you are late your spot in the raid will be
filled. Bring your flasks and food with you. Make sure you are
repaired. If you accepted an invitation and can't make it to the raid
for whatever reason please get in touch with an officer or send Wendalyn
and in game mail.
Our raids are schedule for Tuesday,
Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and
Sunday evenings at 8:30 p.m. server time. All positions will be filled
with classes that we need
for the raid and of course we look at gear score and dps. If you don't
get to attend the raid, please understand it
is not personal. Not everyone gets to go unfortunately. If
we don't finish a raid then it is voted on to continue the raid on a
different day and or time.
Being in a group at the time of our
raid is not going to be accepted. You will be asked to leave the group
you are in to attend the guild raid.
In order to raid we must
have a main tank, an off tank and a healer. Then melee, ranged, and
dps. If we don't have at least the first three positions filled there
is no raid. When you join a raid, please be sure you play the same
toon through-out the whole raid. We count on the toon that you
originally started with for dps, melee, healing and so on.
